CAMP MESORAH

On Tuesday I went to Mesorah Experience in Mesorah.  The program is for three days and two nights.  The bus ride was very very very long!  I sat with my friend Temima Guzman.  A few of my friends and I had to go on the boys bus.  It was fine because Temima and I had two other friends to talk to.  Even though it was such a long ride it I was not bored at all.  When we got to camp all the girls were welcoming us and showing us were to go.  We went to the dining room were the person in charge of Mesorah Experience told us what bunk we were in, and (I was with all of my friends!) about camp time (an hour earlier than real time).  Then we went to our bunk to unpack

  1. So, now you know all about "camp time." You have learned a secret that cannot be shared with anyone who has not gone to sleepaway camp or their parents who have had to call at a certain time.
"I'd like to call my daughter at 10.
    Which time are you calling?
What do you mean which time, I said 10.
But is that camp time or city time?
What time is it there now?
    5 PM camp time.
    Well, it's 6 pm here.
So, what time are you calling, camp time or city time?
Click, they hung up the phone. The call can wait.
